- Increased integrated marketing donation revenue by 235%, raising a total of $1B over 3 years.
- Increased direct mail donors through aggressive acquisition strategy from 93,000 to 715,000+.
- Led strategy and execution of brand marketing resulting in Shriners Hospitals for Children being named #1 Healthcare Nonprofit and Most Trusted Healthcare Nonprofit in 2018 for the first time in the organization’s 150 year history.
President & CEO of the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Foundation – in less than two years:
- Completely rebranded and repositioned 36-year-old non-profit organization resulting in 1,176 new donors in 2014 alone.
- Developed Major Gift Prospect Portfolio of over 200 qualified prospects including those with 8-figure giving capacity.
- Raised $1M for new cancer patient floor.
- Served on Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation Grant Development Team – $7.2M awarded.
- James & Judith Dimon Foundation (new donor) – $100k
- Melanoma Research Alliance Grant (new donor) – $112k with additional $112k from matching source.
- Developed and began implementation of Grateful Patient program.
- Collaborated with Dr. Jonathan Feddock on “Ironcology.org” crowdfunding project – received $2M in follow-on institutional support for new Brachytherapy Suite.
- Launched & provided management structure for new patient support fund.
- Increased Good Giving Guide campaign revenue multiple of 16x over prior year of participation.
- Rebranded “The Betsy; Jump for the Cure” Fundraising Event; acquired new corporate sponsor.
- Created & Implemented “Community Partners Program” with Raising Cane’s, Kroger, Amazon Smile, SplitRock Farm, and existing partners Fayette Alliance and Bluegrass Community Foundation.
- Created & Implemented “Partners in Hope” Fundraising Programs including The Nick of Time Fund and the Cathy Wolterman Coop Patient Support Fund.
- Worked with Board member to secure $500k in bridge funding for MDS research project.
- Achieved endowment investment return of 23% during my tenure (externally managed).
- Presented Strategic Plan to grow UKMCF Endowment from $13M to $50M over 5 years.

- Raised $2.3M in Venture Capital.
- Received $700k in funding from Kentucky Science & Technology Corporation.
- Achieved ROI of 245% on invested capital during one of the worst financial markets in recent history (2008-2009)
- Led successful multi-million dollar exit event to world market leader in Leeds, England.

- Facilitated 5-Year Strategic Plan that turned around struggling University Advancement Division resulting in 1,500% increase in major gifts within two years.
- Co-authored $1M Grant for Science Education awarded by the Amgen Foundation.
