Entrepreneurship — Global Shelter Systems

For me, entrepreneurship is far more than writing a well thought out business plan or patenting the next great thing (although they have their merits).  Entrepreneurship is a way of thinking about business and organizations…whether you are in a start-up, a well-established company or not-for-profit organization.  Change is inevitable and organizations that thrive are the ones who don’t merely adapt to change, but embrace change and continue to innovate.  From building the right team to driving short and long-range strategic plans to injecting new energy into a tired brand.  In the words of professor Ajay Bam at University of California Berkeley’s Haas School of Business “entrepreneurship is the journey of opportunity exploration and risk management to create value for profit and/or social good.”
